My inspiration for visiting Menton, Eze and Villefranche sur Mer is embarrassingly my obsession with a fashion blogger who traveled to all three of these towns with her boyfriend in tow. Did I mention her boyfriend is a professional editorial photographer? So you can imagine how lovely his pictures turned out. Gorgeous views and beautiful perspectives! Clearly he had a great eye. His images made me want to prance along the French Riviera and pose in the narrow streets with colorful buildings in the background while gazing longingly into the distance. Cheesy, I know… but all three towns definitely lived up to those amazing photos.
Red, orange, yellow buildings lined the seafront, and P and I had our first nutella crepe in France. The pictures pretty much explain it all!
This little town perched above Nice oozes everything French. It’s a little artist colony with a gorgeous view of the ocean and the towns below.
P and I had our first beach day in France in this village only 15 minutes away from Nice. Though the beach is a bit pebbly like most beaches on the French Riviera, the amazing colorful view of the coastal architecture and clear blue water makes up for it.
