Phil and I spent Halloween weekend, visiting our old stomping grounds in Boston, a city that we had called home for almost 10 years. This was the city where we met and where we have cultivated and created so many great friendships and wonderful memories. It really was truly amazing to see everyone again after a year and a half on the west coast.
The weekend was filled with visiting old and new Boston spots and catching up with all of our friends in the city. It felt as if we were still living in our little brownstone studio in Kenmore Square and having just an ordinary weekend meeting up with friends for food. Sadly, our walk down memory lane was short-lived and after a few days, we were on the evening flight back to the Bay Area.
We arrived early morning and wandered Beacon Hill while we waited for a room to open up at the hotel. It was a beautiful dewy and quiet morning and it was lovely to walk around the neighborhood in the morning while the locals began heading to work.
Boston, you will always and forever be in my heart… So glad that I got to spend some time with old friends in one of my favorite cities.
