P and I wanted to take advantage of the time, during our transition from Boston to the Bay Area, to travel for a little bit before we started our new lives in California. We had wanted to take a month or more to travel throughout all of Southeast Asia, but that was wishful thinking. In reality, we were … Continue reading Thailand I: “Land of Smiles”
First stop: Bangkok. Our first look at Thailand. P and I have a love/hate relationship with this city. We loved everything about Bangkok … except the “getting around the city” part. For us, transportation was a nightmare. The subway system and the skytrain system were incomplete and thus, incohesive, and didn’t cover much of the city. This year, I am particularly thankful for my wonderful family and friends, and I feel so blessed to be able to celebrate this holiday with family every year. I have been traveling to Connecticut for Thanksgiving for the past ten years, and this year was no different. I live for the amazing Turkey feast, quality family time, and uncontrollable laughter.

P, on the other hand, blatantly refused to accompany me. He complained that his grandfather would roll over in his grave if P ever paid to pick apples, a daily chore that he … Continue reading Fall Festivities: Apple Picking at Shelburne Farm
